CLAIMS REVIEW PROCESS
Being involved in the
claim review process can lend a measure of expertise to the process while
allowing the positive relationship between you and your client to flourish.
Maintaining a positive working relationship with your claims staff is
vital. To assist in this process, our staff will maintain the position of
technical advisor ensuring proper claims processes are carried out and drawing
attention to alternative options and/or areas where claims processes may be
sub par while providing guidance for future claim direction.
This maintains your positive working relationship while ensuring your
needs are continually met.
An effective means of claims review processes include monthly,
quarterly or periodic face-to-face meetings wherein the claims staff presents
the current claim status and plan for future handling.
Some clients find it cost effective to have claim staff submit regular
claim status reports for our review and complete face-to-face claims reviews
infrequently. In the event a claim review process completed in this manner –
we review each file review and provide a written response posing any questions
or guidance deemed appropriate. This
provides documentation necessary to ensure claim progress as well as
solidifying your active involvement in your claims processes.
Pricing for these services can be done on a time and expense basis or
flat monthly fee based on the number of claims involved.
