Jamie R. Goff, Workers' Compensation Claim Specialist
Ms. Goff has over twenty years
experience working in a variety of insurance capacities. Her expertise includes
claims administration, program management, contract management and financial
analysis. Jamie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration and has spent over fifteen years directing contracts and accounts
for a variety of clients in multiple jurisdictions. Her education and experience
make her uniquely qualified within the insurance industry.
Jamie has been a highly sought after independent consultant to the
insurance industry for over seven years.
Jamie
began her career in a claimant attorney office handling California Workers’
Compensation cases. After two years she changed her focus to the defense of
workers’ compensation claims. She moved to a National TPA where she began in
the capacity of Claims Examiner and later, Claims Supervisor. Her career
developed from Claims Examiner, Supervisor and Manager to Regional Manager and
finally Asst. Vice President. Her experience includes the states of California,
Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii. She has been extensively
involved in program management and financial evaluation for over fifteen years.
Her expertise in claims extends to all areas of workers’ compensation. A long
standing instructor for the Insurance Educational Association, Jamie has
obtained her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation, Associate in Claims
(AIC) designation and her Associate in Management (AIM) designation from the
Insurance Institute of America (IIA) and she is approved as a self insured
administrator by Self Insurance Plans, State of California. Additionally, she
has completed seven of ten course requirements towards her CPCU designation.
